Can Modal fabric be washed in a washing machine?

Modal fabric can be washed in a washing machine, but some precautions are required, such as using a mild detergent, washing in warm water, and not tumble drying.

Preparing for Washing Modal Fabric
Before washing modal fabric, you need to prepare the following tools and items:

1. Mild Detergent: Choose a mild detergent; avoid harsh detergents, as these can damage the fabric's fiber structure and affect its softness and comfort.

2. Warm Water: Modal fabric cannot withstand high temperatures, so warm water is recommended. The water temperature should not exceed 30°C.

3. Washing Net: Using a washing net can prevent modal fabric from being deformed or caught on other clothing.

Steps for Washing Modal Fabric in a Washing Machine

1. Place the modal fabric inside out in the washing machine, keeping it separate from other clothes of the same or similar colors.

2. Wash on a gentle cycle, such as the delicate cycle or the wool/silk cycle, or hand wash. Place mild detergent in the washing machine.

3. When washing modal fabrics, keep the water temperature below 30°C. Do not use hot or cold water. Pre-rinse in cold water, then rinse in water of a suitable temperature.

4. After washing, use a softener or air dry the fabric in a dryer to soften the fleece.
